Ressie is a second-year MPH student in the Community Health Sciences department. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Science with an emphasis in Community Health Education from CSU Long Beach. Her interest in Maternal and Child Health stemmed from completing two clinical rotations on a postpartum unit, where she became fascinated about the public health programs that exist in a hospital setting. Ressie currently conducts newborn screening short-term follow-up and enjoys developing creative and innovative health communication strategies that improve the health outcomes of babies and families. During her free time, Ressie enjoys spending time with family and friends, discovering new music, and cycling.
